Guess who got place #132 in the ranking of best publicity agencies in Mexico, according to Merca 2.0?
Xpectare of course! I mean, who else could we be talking about?
According to Merca 2.0 the companies were graded according to their levels of creativity, specialty areas, prices, UX and graphic design. Nonetheless, all of them are great companies that focus on both, printed and digital media, when Xpectare only focuses on digital, which according to the magazine was the most popular way of marketing in 2015.
Xpectare is always trying to go one step ahead and for the last 16 years has been successful with its methodology.
We are very happy to be on the top 216 in Mexico! Let’s go for more!

During the event of the 4th entrepreneurship forum at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, René Pons, CEO and Creative Director of Xpectare Interactive Media gave a lecture called “The Value of a Good Pitch”.
He discussed that when selling a product or service, no matter how good it actually is, the buyer has to be convinced by the seller to buy his products.
“Everytime that we are meeting with a client, we need to talk with simple words, and we need to consider the following elements for a great pitch: First, we need to find a problem, for example, your problem is that you don’t have where to sit your friends, and luckily I sell chairs. Second, we find you a solution. I tell you that chairs are a great option to sit people. And third, your team, you need specialists so you can assure good quality and comfort.”
Also, he shared some examples of the brand ACME that brought good memories to the audience.

The Xpectare team had what we call in spanish the traditional “Posada”, which is a party to celebrate Christmas prior to Christmas… We find excuses to celebrate anytime! The Posada was at one of our coworker’s place, and we had a blast celebrating this beautiful season with everybody.
We played secret santa and it was a surprise for everybody who got who! Two weeks before the party, we started giving candies to our secret friend, and as we work in a open space office, it was so much fun trying to get the candy to the right person without getting caught. At the party, we listen to random music; we decided to open a collective Spotify playlist, (not our best idea ever) so you could hear music from heavy metal to banda norteña, which was fun to hear everybody’s taste in music.
After eating a delicious meal and listening to random music, we decided to go inside. Oh, by the way, did I mention that we were outside at 2°C or 35°F? With only one heater for all of us? Another bad decision, but someone once said that nothing fun happens from good decisions. Anyhow, we went inside and start playing card games without cards… Yes yes yes, we are creative.
So, fortunately another fun day with the Xpectare team.
